【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofbulkplumage.Acceptancetolerancesofcontentmustbeestablishedbetweenthepurchaserandsellerofbulkshipmentsofplumage,whichalsomustcomplywithstateandfederalagencyregulations,asappropriate.5.1.1IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodD4524foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimensthatareashomogeneousaspossibleandthatarefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudentrsquo;t-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerprettestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Thistestmethodmayalsobeapplicabletotheacceptanceofconsumerproductsthatuseplumageasafillingmaterial.Suchconsumerproductsincludepillows,comforters,sleepingbags,garments,furniture,andmattresses.Acceptancetolerancesofcontentareestablishedbydistributors,importers,stateorfederalregulatoryagencies.See5.1.1.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofthecomponentsfoundinplumage.Thetestmethodisapplicableforplumagefoundinbulkformorinfinishedconsumerproducts.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

适用范围
本标准规定了30天或90天喂养试验的基本技术要求。本标准适用于评价食品生产、加工、保藏、运输和销售过程中所涉及的可能对健康造成危害的化学、生物和物理因素对动物引起的有害效应，检验对象包括食品添加剂(含营养强化剂)、食品新资源及其成分、新资源食品、辐照食品、食品容器与包装材料、食品工具、设备、洗涤剂、消毒剂、农药残留、兽药残留、食品工业用微生物等。
