【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforsettingspecifications,foruseasaninternalqualitycontroltool,andforuseindevelopmentorresearchworkonindustrialaromatichydrocarbonsandrelatedmaterials.Thistestmethodgivesabroadindicationofgeneralpurityandcanalsoindicatepresenceofexcessivemoisture.Itwillnotdifferentiatebetweenproductsofsimilarboilingrange.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedistillationofindustrialaromatichydrocarbonsandrelatedmaterialsofrelativelynarrowboilingrangesfrom30to250x00B0;C.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthistestmethod:forthepurposesofdeterminingconformancetothistestmethod,anobservedorcalculatedvalueshallberoundedoffx201C;tothenearestunitx201D;inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercury-containingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPA''swebsite(http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htm)foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryormercury-containingproducts,orboth,inyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,6.6.1andSection7.
