【摘要】:ThisstandardgivestherequirementsforE-typeglasssleevingusingeitherbraidedorknittedconstructionwithacontinuousflexiblecoatingbasedonpolyvinylchloride(PVC)oritscopolymersorblendsthereof.Thesesleevingshavebeenfoundsuitableuptotemperaturesof105°C.Thesleevingisnormallyavailablewithinternaldiametersbetween0,3mmand25mmandisnormallysuppliedinthefollowingcolours:black,white,red,yellow,blue,brown,green,grey,orange,pinkandgreen/yellow.Sizesorcoloursotherthanthosespecificallylistedinthisstandardmaybeavailableascustomitems.TheseitemsshallbeconsideredtocomplywiththisstandardiftheycomplywiththeotherpropertyrequirementslistedinTables2and5,exceptfordimensions,and,whereapplicable,inTable3.Materialswhichconformtothisspecificationmeetestablishedlevelsofperformance.However,theselectionofamaterialbyauserforaspecificapplicationshouldbebasedontheactualrequirementsnecessaryforadequateperformanceinthatapplicationandnotbasedonthisspecificationalone.
