【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheholdingstrengthofaprong-ringtothesocketorstudofasnapfastenerusingatensiletestingmachine(Option1)oramanualteststandandforce-measuringgage(Option2).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoprong-ringtypesnapfastenersingarmentsortobeattachedtofabricsintendedforuseinapparel(seeAnnexA1).1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththespecification.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
