【摘要】:ThispartofEN14662isinaccordancewiththegenericmethodologyselectedasthebasisoftheEuropeanUnionforthedeterminationofbenzeneinambientair[1]forthepurposeofcomparisonofmeasurementresultswithlimitvalueswithaone-yearreferenceperiod.ThispartofEN14662givesgeneralguidanceforthesamplingandanalysisofbenzeneinairbydiffusivesampling,thermaldesorptionandcapillarygaschromatography.ThispartofEN14662isvalidforthemeasurementofbenzeneinaconcentrationrangeofapproximately0,5μg/mto50μg/minanairsampletypicallycollectedoveraperiodof14days.Theupperlimitoftheusefulrangeissetbythesorptivecapacityofthesorbentandbythelineardynamicrangeofthegaschromatographcolumnanddetectororbythesamplesplittingcapabilityoftheanalyticalinstrumentationused.Thelowerlimitoftheusefulrangedependsonthenoiselevelofthedetectorandonblanklevelsofbenzeneand/orinterferingartefactsonthesorbent.Artefactsaretypicallysubngforsorbentssuchasgraphitisedcarbon,buthigherlevelsofaromatichydrocarbonshavebeennotedinothersorbents.
